Eileen M. Solis brings 20 years of legal experience helping people in traumatic situations – and there is no situation more traumatic than a divorce. Ms. Solis brings vast experience. The wide-ranging experience, understanding and sensitivity to each divorce mediation. These skills and abilities make Ms. Solis invaluable during a couple’s most emotional and vulnerable time. She is well equipped to help the separating couple reach solutions and reduce frictions between them, especially when children are involved. Ms. Solis’ approach to conflict resolution and compromise often results in amicable divorces and prepares the parties to move forward to a productive new life that is fair to everyone.
Ms. Solis has worked in the Orange County legal community for over 20 years and has participated in and conducted a wide-range of family law mediations. She is able to draw upon her experience trying and settling countless complex and contentious family cases. Ms. Solis has served as a mediator in cases involving Family Law issues such as:

Ms. Solis is creative in finding and suggesting sensible compromises, which helps reduce stress, conflict and hurt feelings which reduce the friction between the parties. With her nursing background and keen awareness of child development and coping issues, Ms. Solis is always seeking resolution that keeps the best interests of the children in the forefront, especially when children are involved. Ms. Solis’ goal in mediation is to reach fair and reasonable solutions, and results that will be in the best interest of the parties’ minor children.
In addition to reaching equitable property division and support orders, Ms. Solis knows how to assist parties in preparing functional parenting plans that are realistic and in the best interests of their children which includes:
- Custody arrangements: legal custody and physical custody
- Plans for schooling and extracurricular activities
- Holiday schedules, such as switching birthdays and holidays
- Summer activities and travel
- Driving arrangements
- Guidelines for communicating
In addition to holding a Juris Doctor Degree, her experience as a family law attorney, Ms. Solis is also a Registered Nurse, who spent several years working as a trauma nurse and intensive care nurse in Orange County. Ms. Solis served on the Board of Directors for Project Hope Alliance (formally “Project Hope School”), helping homeless and displaced children and families in Orange County.
A fluent Spanish speaker, Ms. Solis was the Spanish-language liaison for the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children for approximately 6 years and has been featured in several prominent Los Angeles television stations as an expert commentator in the area of child abuse and missing and exploited children. She is a volunteer with the Constitutional Law Foundation, serving as an advisory attorney for Peer Court. Ms. Solis is also a frequent speaker at local high schools discussing many areas of the law and how those laws apply to minors.
